Grandmothers can play too.

Here’s a nice story we came across that somebody sent in to a website such as this one except that it was in a foreign language but we thought it such a nice story that we translated it for you.

“ I had to have a little chuckle and never expected my Grandmother to understand but a few years ago my Grandfather passed away and she was telling me about the fun they used to have by going to the casino together. Grandma is not so steady on her feet anymore and does not venture out without assistance but there is nothing wrong with her mind. I said to her that I also liked to play at a casino but that it was an online casino through the internet so next time she was visiting me I showed her. She thought it was fantastic and asked if I could set something up for her. As she has grown up in a non computer age I had serious doubts about whether this would work out but nevertheless I bought a simple computer for her and set up an internet connection and explained how it worked. She is still not comfortable with the process of funding her account but she gives me the money and I do it for her. Yesterday she phoned me up completely over the moon to tell me she had won €13. It is not exactly a fortune but how nice to see an older person given a new interest just by using the internet. Heaven knows what she will do next”

Just goes to show, she may be in her 70s but fun on the internet can still be had.
