The slots are not the only simple online casino games

Before the cards are dealt the player must place an ante bet of at least the minimum table stake, and a winning hand is one in which the blind card has a value between the two open cards. When playing Red Dog at an online casino the player has the opportunity to increase the stake before the third card is revealed if the spread of the open cards provides a reasonable chance of a winning hand. Most winning hands are paid out at even money, but if the spread of the open cards is 3 or less most online casinos pay better odds because the chance of a winning hand is clearly less. Even higher odds, often as much as 11/1 are paid on a winning hand when the two open cards are a pair, because the only possible winning hand is three of a kind. One more thing to note when playing Red Dog and that is the possibility that the two open cards are consecutive numbers, in which case there is no possibility of a winning hand and the deal is declared void and the stake returned.
