Here is one that came in which we thought was worthwhile passing on:-
“I have an account with William Hill Casino, and others incidentally, and I was very surprised to receive an e-mail from them introducing their new casino and not only telling me about the “amazing graphics” and introducing their slots game “Spin 2 Million $™” that has a top payout of $2,000,000 but also offering me €25 free if I downloaded the new casino software. Not only was the €25 free, it was supposed to be instantaneous and get this, no restrictions such as play through requirements. As I said, I already have an account and the previous software downloaded so to download the new stuff and delete the old seemed a quick way of getting €25 so I went ahead and did it. Once it was downloaded I logged out and back in again expecting the €25 to be in my account after all instantaneous means now, it does not mean 24 hours later. Having done this a couple of times I realised it was not going to happen but being the persistent girl I am I sent the help desk an e-mail asking them where my €25 was. After a few hours I received a reply apologising for the inconvenience and promising my bonus would be credited immediately. I checked again and there it was. What they did not say was why it had not been credited in the first place. The moral of this story, if you think something is not right always go back to the casino and ask the question.”
From our point of view we would like to hear from anyone who has had a similar experience but also congratulate William Hill for a great offer of free money.
