Blackjack has several variations

Blackjack has got to be one of the oldest and simplest of the casino games to play but these days online blackjack has added a number of options to make it more interesting. Blackjack switch for example is an online game of black jack in which you play two hands against the dealer. The normal rules of blackjack apply with a couple of exceptions but you are still trying to win by having a higher hand than the dealer but 21 or less. The exceptions to the standard online blackjack are that the dealer will hit on “soft 17” (This is an ace and a six; see our game rules section for complete explanation) and blackjack pays 1 to1 instead of the normal 2 to 1. The advantage to you as a player is that after the deal but before play commences you can switch the top cards from each hand with each other. The dealer has one more advantage and that is that all bets are a push if the dealer turns up 22. This adds another dimension and if you play blackjack is well worth a go.

Another blackjack variation is Duel blackjack. This is an idea stolen from poker where as well as the normal cards that are dealt there are two community cards that can used by all player and the dealer. As a blackjack player you can choose which if either of the community cards to use and if you do your stake will be doubled. This blackjack game also has an interesting side bet which you can take; if your first card and one of the community cards forms a pair you get paid at 3 to 1 or 3 of a kind pays 20:1.
