The Fillies in question are those competing in the Miss Universe 2009 competition on Atlantis Paradise Island, Nassau, Bahamas on August 23^rd and amongst them is our very own 20 year old Diana Donnelly who is among the favourites.  Two Irish bookmakers are offering odds on the event with some interesting anomalies. As we have said before it pays to have more than one account when it comes to betting. Boylesports are currently offering 10:1 for an outright victory for Diana or ¼ odds for 1,2,3 but if you go to Paddypower you can get 14:1 and ¼ odds for 1,2,3,4,5. Among the other favourites for the title are Miss Mexico and Miss Dominican Republic, also both available at 10:1 at either bookie. Paddypower has 20 year old Miss Australia, Rachael Finch installed as their favourite at 8:1 but if you fancy her (from a betting perspective of course) then Boylesports is the place to be where she is currently 11:1. Mixed messages continue with Miss Czech Republic going at 12:1 at Boylesorts but a massive 25:1 at Paddypower which may disappear quickly; Miss Costa Rica and Miss Honduras are both 14:1 at Boylesports but 16:1 and 18:1 at Paddypower with Miss Netherlands, Miss Puerto Rico and Miss USA all at 14:1 with both.

This would seem a pretty open contest but if you fancy something a bit unusual why not give it a go, but select your betting partner carefully.
