How about a bit of fantasy football

If you find yourself a bit bored over the Christmas period, try some of the other online games that are available. This is a game where you can bet on the outcome of a football game in much the same way as you would for real; you choose your game from a number of leagues including European ones  and then you can bet on a simple home win, draw or away win or you can go for the final score, total goals, red cards etc with different odds being offered for each result. Once you have placed your bet the game is played (it only takes a few seconds) and any winnings are paid out. The real laugh about this is that knowledge of the game is not a prerequisite, in fact it can be positively unhelpful. We selected a premiership game and went for a home win and duly won when the result was 3-0 so we tried the same match again and the result was again 3-0. This sounds easy we thought so we selected the same match again and placed our bet on a 3-0 home win which it had been twice. Guess what? The result was a 4-0 away win!! If that wasn’t enough, having won you can then bet again on a penalty score or miss which gives you chance to double your money. This is a 50/50 bet though, so has nothing to do with the likely result of an actual penalty kick.

It could be good for a laugh in a few bored moments.
