If you cannot Bluff, try Video Poker

Played poker and found out that you keep on losing? Give video poker a try for a change. When playing Texas hold’em or similar poker games the law of averages says that you will have some winning hands and some losing hands but the problem is that even if you have the winning cards you still have to recognize that fact and back it your cash. There is also nothing more frustrating than getting dealt a good hand, backing it and then finding out that it might have been a good hand but it wasn’t the best hand. Video poker takes away all that frustration; if you have a winning hand you win, simple as that. Not only do you win but you know in advance how much you win and even if you lose, you know what you have staked and you can’t lose more than that on one hand. True to say that there is no bluffing involved but there is skill involved as you have to make decisions about which  cards to hold and if you feel there is not enough of the gambling instinct, look for the games that allow you to double on a gamble. If you are not too sure of how to play the game rules in the casino are fairly clear. Most games will require you to have a minimum hand to win which is often a pair of Jacks (check the actual game you are playing) so pay attention to the cards that you decide to hold. A pair of tens looks good in your hand but won’t actually win you anything. If you hold your tens you need to hit another ten or another pair in the next three cards to have a winning hand; it is often better t hold a single Jack or higher.
