Just a few days ago, August 6th to be precise we wrote about Caribbean Stud Poker being a good introduction to casino poker because there is no bluffing involved and you fix your own stakes and cannot lose more than your original stake but there is yet another form of online casino poker which also involves no bluffing and that is Let it Ride poker or simply let it ride. This is an online casino game that involves forming a hand of poker and instead of playing against the dealer who also has a hand this casino game bears more similarities to video poker as it pays fixed odds against particular hands. Full details of let it ride are explained in our game casino rules section but in principle after determining your stake you are dealt three cards and there are two other cards face down on the table; you then have to assess your chances of making a poker hand of one pair of tens or better from the three you have plus the two face down cards. When determining your stake remember that you are actually placing three bets of equal value but you have the chance to withdraw two of the bets if you are not happy with the dealt cards. You will not be able to play let it ride at all online casinos but certainly Bet365 and Ladbrokes have it in their offerings and of course you can play free let it ride before risking your money. Most online casinos offer the same fixed odds against poker hands but the thing to watch out for is the side bet or jackpot. Some online casinos such as Ladbrokes pay a combination of a percentage of the jackpot and fixed odds whist others such as Bet365 pay only fixed odds. Which you choose to play should depend on the size of the jackpot. A straight flush for example pays 10% of the jackpot at Ladbrokes but 2000:1 at Bet365 meaning that if the jackpot pool is more than 20000 at Ladbrokes you should play let it ride there but if not play let it ride at Bet365. Give it a go, it is good fun.
