No good at bluffing? try let it ride

If you like the idea of poker but do not fancy playing against other people or the bluffing element there is always the option of Let it Ride Poker or sometimes called simply let it ride. This is only poker in as much as a hand is five cards and the ranking of the hands is the same as poker but in this game you are assessing  your chances of creating a poker hand of a pair of tens or better. Unusually the dealer has no cards so you are not playing against a dealer hand, nevertheless if you cannot form a hand of a pair of tens or better you will lose but you can determine how much you lose and any hand better than a pair pays increasingly higher odds for no extra outlay. To play let it ride the dealer will deal five cards, three of which are face up and two of which are face down and this is your first chance to assess your hand. You would expect that if you fancy your chances you would be able to increase your bet but in online let it ride it is reversed but effectively the same. Instead of increasing your bet at each turn of a card, the game starts with you placing three equal bets namely an ante and two bets which you can withdraw at each turn of the card. You cannot withdraw the ante. This is where the casino game gets its name “let it ride” as if you do not withdraw your bet you in effect let it ride.
