Red Dog is a very easy online casino card game

One of the most obvious features of almost every online casino site is the vast range of slots games which make up most of their casino games range. Red Dog is a very simple card game, sometimes called ‘between the sheets’, which is played against the house with a standard 52 card deck. The player first places an ante bet at least equal to the minimum table stake, and then receives three cards, two face up with the third face down between them. A winning hand is simply one where the blind card has a value between the two open cards. In Red Dog the player also has the choice to increase their stake before the blind card is revealed, a decision which clearly depends on the spread of the two open cards. The winning odds also depend on that spread with most hands paid at even money, but more if the spread is three or less. There are two other possibilities in a Red Dog hand though. The first is that the open cards are a pair, in which case the only winning hand is three of a kind, usually paid at 11/1. The second is that they are consecutive numbers where a winning hand is impossible and the hand is void and the stake returned.
