Normally we warn folk to be wary of the terms and conditions of welcome bonuses as they often come in the form of credits and there can be a multitude of requirements before you qualify to receive them but last week we reported that Ladbrokes had taken the unusual step of offering a no deposit cash bonus of €25 for new players instantly and all you have to do is open an account. But guess what? William Hill have announced an offer of a €30 no deposit instant cash bonus for new players but the terms and conditions are somewhat different. Both are instant bonuses which are credited to your account but the difference lies in when you can take any winnings out of your account which could be an important issue to some. If all you intend to do is sign up and gamble away the free money for a bit of fun then fine but imagine if you won a jackpot or just a large amount and then found out that you could not get your money out; that really would be a downer. Ladbrokes require you to wager the free amount 20 times which means €500 before you can make any withdrawal and not all games 100% towards it (see our previous article for details). This is fairly common amongst bonuses and in fact the requirement is often more than 20 times. William Hill also requires a 20 times wager which means €600 and again not all games count 100%; in fact only slots count 100% and games such as Roulette or Blackjack only count 20% but here is the real killer; you can only make one withdrawal of profits and it is limited to a maximum of €200. Imagine you won a jackpot and then found out you could only have €200. What is more you need to deposit €35 in order to make any withdrawal at all. William Hill is a very good casino with good matching bonuses for new players and it is one that we still recommend but we think they have got this one wrong so if you are looking for a good instant joining bonus go for Ladbrokes. You can of course sign up for the William Hill casino and not take this offer; as we said it is a very good casino with other good new player offers.
